Health Care Reform Update: "Where are we now?" and "Where do we go?"

PROGRAM:
    This 1½-hour program will focus on the recent Health Care Reform Act, commonly referred to as PPACA. The panel will discuss the DOL, HHS and Treasury Department guidance to date and the impact those regulations will have on employer-provided medical coverage (both state-regulated health insurance products and self-insured plans) starting with the upcoming plan year.


    We will look beyond the 2011 plan year to changes to be implemented in 2014, grandfathering and transition rules, the availability of limited credits, and employers' strategies from PPACA's initial phases to full implementation.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

    This program has been approved for 1.5 hours of Ohio CLE credit
    and for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for State of Ohio Life, Accident and Life Licensees.
    It is also intended to qualify for 1.8 credits of Ohio accounting CPE (self-submit)
    and 1.5 hours of SHRM/HRCI credit (self-submit).
