About the Cleveland Chapter of WEB

Cleveland chapter programs feature an interactive panel of benefits professionals from large and small employers, service providers and consulting firms, who each bring a different perspective on important, practical issues faced by today's benefits leaders. The Cleveland chapter is the country's largest WEB chapter. Opportunities abound in the Cleveland chapter for employee benefits professionals to exchange ideas and information with the panel and other attendees on the latest trends and developments through our educational programs and networking.

The Cleveland chapter generally meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from September through May. Occasionally, we meet on other days, though, so check the schedule.

Our morning programs begin with registration, continental breakfast and your first networking opportunity at 7:30 AM. The presentation is from 8:00 - 9:00 AM, with questions/answers from 9:00 - 9:15 AM. For certain topics, we meet a little longer, for instance, in September, January and May, our programs will be 1.5 hours and our Annual Legal and Regulatory Update in March is two hours.

Benefits Boot Camp

NEW Program Location

This season, we are returning to our former meeting location in One Cleveland Center, now known as the CMBA Conference Center. Located at 1375 East 9th Street, Floor 2, parking is available for $7.00 per day in the attached garage which can be accessed from St. Clair Avenue, just east of East 9th Street. If you park for less than 2 hours, get your ticket validated at the CMBA front desk for a rate of $5.00. Click here to VIEW A MAP of the location of One Cleveland Center.

Program Fees

The program fees for regular programs are $20 for members and $60 for nonmembers. You may register online and prepay with a credit card or check the box that you will pay at the door. You may also register by mail (checks only) or fax, email or telephone your registration and pay at the door. It does speed up registration on the morning of the program, however, if you have prepaid your registration either online with a credit card or by mailing in your check.

Again this year! Members can save even more by prepaying for the entire season. The cost for members to prepay for all regular programs is $100. This payment does not include our half-day Benefits Boot Camp.

Continuing Education Credit

WEB is a great way to fulfill your continuing education credits. Application for Ohio continuing legal education (CLE) credit, Ohio continuing education for insurance licensing (CE) credit and HRCI recertification hours (self-submit) will be made for most programs in the 2015-2016 program year. All of our programs are intended to satisfy continuing education requirements for Ohio accounting (CPE), CEBS and ASPPA for you to self-submit. As applicable, additional information about continuing education credit will be included with the notice and registration form for each program. An additional $15 processing fee applies to nonmembers seeking CLE and CE. Continuing education credit is free for members.
