Individual Membership
Most WEB members are individual members (employed employee benefits professionals who provide in-house or outside professional services for companies). Members can be individual members, even if others from their organization are also individual members. Individual members who are "Plan Sponsors" (that is, an employee whose primary day-to-day responsibilities are for their employer and not clients) should indicate their Plan Sponsor status to enjoy additional benefits.
The annual membership dues for an individual membership is $250. Most employers will reimburse the cost of individual memberships to WEB. Individual memberships are the property of the member, even if they change employers.
Associate Membership
Associate membership is intended to make WEB membership more affordable to certain types of individuals, including students, retirees, nonprofit and governmental employees, and individuals between jobs.
The annual membership dues for an associate membership is $150. Associate membership generally is not available to individuals who work for for-profit organizations. Associate memberships are the property of the associate member.
Online Membership
Online-only membership is available to individuals who are not physically located near a local chapter. While WEB wants to make its programs available to everyone, we believe that one of the most valuable benefits to WEB members is the ability to meet and develop relationships with other benefits professionals in you local area.
The annual membership dues for an online only membership is $200. Online only membership generally is not available to individuals who live in the vicinity of a local chapter.
Corporate Membership (Atlanta Only)
Corporate membership is available to organizations that want to promote WEB membership and involvement to a significant portion of their workforce. Corporate members enjoy a discounted rate because they have five covered members.
The annual membership dues for corporate members in Atlanta is $1,000 for 5 individuals. Corporate memberships are retained by the employer, so the organization may change its covered members at any time in the event of turnover or internal job changes occurring within a membership year.
Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is available to organizations that want to promote WEB membership and involvement to a significant portion of their workforce. Corporate members enjoy a discounted rate per member if at least five of their employees are members. There is no maximum number of individuals who may be a part of a corporate membership and corporate members may be located in multiple chapter locations.
The annual membership dues for corporate members is $200 per person, provided at least individuals are included in the corporate membership. Corporate memberships are retained by the employer, so the organization may change its members at any time in the event of turnover or internal job changes occurring within a membership year.
