Don't miss the New York Metro chapter's
live program and happy hour following.

About the Program

Join us to hear the latest developments in ERISA Litigation. Our speaker, an experienced ERISA litigation attorney, will discuss recent decisions involving  retirement and health & welfare plans. This webinar will focus on:

  • An overview of recent trends in ERISA litigation, including cases regarding 401(k) plan forfeitures, tobacco surcharges, fiduciary reach claims regarding PBMs, and excessive fees and imprudent investment claims.
  • Best practices for plan fiduciaries to help avoid and mitigate exposure.
  • How courts will evaluate plaintiffs’ claims at the motion to dismiss stage and beyond.
  • What factors are considered in evaluating plan fiduciaries’ actions both for procedural and substantive prudence.

This is your opportunity to learn about the latest court decisions and how your company or your clients may be impacted.

The program's learning objective is to help plan sponsor employers and their advisors learn why plan sponsors are being sued and proactive and protective actions that can be taken by plan sponsors in 2026 and beyond to avoid or minimize the consequences of similar lawsuits.
